Characteristic patina

Interior stylist and Hotbath fan Justine Zeegers from @lajustine shares her experience: "The taps from Hotbath, with their 'living color and characteristic patina', are the perfect cocktail for the most beautiful bathroom ever."

Characteristic patina

I burst with joy every time I step over the threshold of the bathroom. I feel a mix of pride and relaxation in every cell of my body. I still think it's special how we managed to set up our project. No, not entirely from A to Z. But if you first start sketching and then move on to Sketchup (and therefore go from visualization to realization) you will soon be very closely involved in creating your own spa. Yes, that's what I always call it. Not a bathroom, but a spa!

In this space we block: me-time, we think, we have conversations, we sing (children's) songs and we blow away bubbles.

In short, we have peace in our bathroom. But there is also life. You can think of it as a perfect trip. Hotbath's plumbing was the ultimate outreach. And I am of course talking about the Cobber Living Colours. The name says it all: it lives. Every drop and splash is forever marked on it, which makes the products with this finish so mega unique. The standing bath faucet from Hotbath can be seen. Why place behind the bath? No, we just chose to keep it in sight! These taps deserve their attention and do not belong behind an item or in the corner.

There are five Living Colors available in total: Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Brushed Copper, Aged Brass and Shiny Nickel. We have opted for the Brushed Brass finish.

Of course we continue the line and the beautiful knobs of the Hotbath shower are permanently fixed in the Moroccan design tiles. The bigger the shower, the better! What a mega treat when you let yourself be submerged by the flow of the water that comes from the taps of Hotbath. We wanted to emphasize the spatial feeling and chose to also have the rest of the sanitary facilities built in. To give every detail just as much attention. No taps for our Moroccan design tiles, but also not for our marble wall, which -also- has lived its life by quietly following the veins of this marble slab. The ingredients: nude tones, matt white (which keeps very nicely in the background), our bathroom furniture made of natural wood, the handmade Moroccan design tiles, the marble top and really, the beautiful sanitary with its 'living color and the characteristic patina' is for us the perfect cocktail for the most beautiful bathroom ever.
